The site was selected following a nation-wide, two-year study that identified the Mid North Coast for its favourable climate, soil, water resources and its strategic position on the highway between the Sydney and Brisbane markets. Green Leaf Farm uses modern protected-cropping methods across 500 greenhouses to grow a range of fresh vegetables, including Lebanese cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, ginger and spiral chillies. Product is graded, packed and dispatched daily to wholesale merchants at the Sydney Markets, from where it reaches greengrocers, food service operators and retail chains along the eastern seaboard. The Group's development plan provides for staged expansion of the site to up to 1,800 greenhouses, and the business plays a significant role in local employment and investment in regional New South Wales. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Board Committee Members, the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director will determine, formulate and review the general policies, programs and overall strategic direction of Green Leaf Australia Group Pty Ltd, within the framework established by the Board. Represent the business at official occasions, in negotiations, and at industry forums, seminars and conventions relevant to horticulture and fresh produce. Operational and Production Oversight: Provide leadership to the Operation Manager over irrigation, horticulture, nursery, mechanical and cold storage functions supporting the farm's protected-cropping operations. Work with the Scientific Specialists team (including agronomy, entomology, horticultural research and development, and biosecurity) to maintain crop quality, yield and food safety standards. Oversee the planned staged expansion of greenhouse capacity, authorising material, human and financial resources required to implement expansion and production plans. Monitor and evaluate operational and production performance against the organisation's objectives and strategies. Commercial, Sales and Market Relationships: Provide direction to the Sales & Marketing function across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and online sales channels. GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR - HOSPITALITY » Perth, Perth Region - Lead. Transform. Grow. This is a pivotal executive role for an experienced hospitality leader who can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels — owning group-wide performance, building high-performing leadership teams, strengthening operational disciplines and creating the platform for significant future growth. With responsibility across a diverse portfolio incorporating food & beverage, accommodation, events and destination assets, the successful candidate will have genuine accountability for the commercial performance of the hospitality business and will play a key role in shaping its next phase of growth. THE ROLE Reporting to the Group Principal, the Group Managing Director will have single-point accountability for the commercial and operational performance of the hospitality portfolio, with responsibility for delivering sustainable revenue and EBITDA growth while protecting the quality and identity of each individual asset. Key responsibilities will include: Own the consolidated hospitality P&L, including revenue, gross margin, labour, controllable costs and EBITDA across the portfolio. Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting in partnership with the Group CFO, ensuring venue leadership is accountable for performance. Drive revenue growth through pricing, yield, distribution, events, membership, covers, average spend and non-room revenue. Identify and deliver EBITDA improvement through labour productivity, cost control, procurement leverage and optimisation of underperforming revenue streams. Establish consistent group-wide reporting, trading reviews and performance disciplines. Build, assess and develop the senior leadership team, creating greater depth, accountability and succession capability. Design and implement the organisational structure and operating rhythm required to support a materially larger portfolio. Define and enforce group operating standards while retaining the individual character and identity of each asset. Champion exceptional product, service and guest experience while ensuring robust compliance across liquor, food safety, WHS, employment and licensing requirements. Lead major repositioning projects as an operational turnaround, separate from its redevelopment. Provide operational and commercial leadership into future development, acquisition and partnership opportunities. Lead pre-opening strategy, operating models, budgets, critical paths and leadership recruitment for new assets. Ensure future growth is accretive rather than dilutive, supported by the right systems, people, structures and commercial disciplines. Provide the Group Principal and CFO with a reliable, forward-looking view of performance, risks and opportunities. Represent the Group with key industry, government, media and community stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL BRING We are seeking a proven hospitality executive with the commercial maturity and operational credibility to lead a significant and growing portfolio. You will ideally bring: Multi-site hospitality leadership with full P&L responsibility across a portfolio generating approximately $75m–$150m in revenue. Genuine, hands-on food & beverage expertise spanning restaurants, bars and events. Strong hotel and accommodation experience, including rooms revenue management, pricing and distribution. Exceptional commercial and financial acumen, with a strong understanding of unit economics, labour modelling, contribution analysis, EBITDA and capital returns. A demonstrated history of delivering measurable revenue and EBITDA improvement, with the ability to clearly articulate how results were achieved. Experience contributing to new developments, acquisitions or pre-openings, ideally within resort, destination or complex hospitality environments. A strong track record of building, upgrading and holding leadership teams accountable. The ability to balance strategic thinking with a willingness to get close to the operation when required. YOUR LEADERSHIP STYLE This role will suit an executive who is: Low ego. High standards. Commercially sharp. Direct. Resilient. You will be comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve, decisions need to be made quickly and effective teamwork is required. You will bring confidence without arrogance, challenge constructively, communicate directly and create accountability without creating bureaucracy. Most importantly, you will be a builder — someone who can take a successful but evolving hospitality business, strengthen its foundations and create the people, systems and commercial platform required to take it to the next level. STRONGLY PREFERRED Development and pre-opening experience, ideally including a resort or destination asset. Concept-to-opening exposure is more valuable here than any single operating credential. Luxury or premium positioning experience where brand integrity constrains commercial decisions. Regional or destination market experience. Exposure to membership, club or subscription revenue models. THE OPPORTUNITY This is not simply an opportunity to manage an existing portfolio. It is an opportunity to shape the future of a hospitality group, influence its investment and development pipeline, build a high-performing executive team and play a defining role in materially increasing the scale and value of the business. If you are an accomplished hospitality executive ready to take genuine ownership of a growing portfolio and have the commercial capability, leadership depth and operational credibility to make a significant impact, we would like to hear from you.
