Your responsibilities are likely to include: Leading the hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure for major transport, defence and energy projects Providing technical leadership in the design of pit and pipe drainage networks, open channel systems, culverts, detention and treatment infrastructure, major/minor drainage systems and flood conveyance infrastructure Overseeing hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, including interpretation of results and integration into design outcomes Reviewing and approving technical calculations, design models, drawings, reports and specifications Advising project teams and clients on flood risk, drainage strategy, network performance, design criteria and infrastructure resilience Supporting delivery from planning and concept design through to detailed design and construction support Acting as a senior technical reviewer and mentor to developing engineers across the team Supporting client engagement, work winning and proposal development in the Perth market Contributing to the growth and maturity of the local drainage and water resources capability We are looking for a highly experienced and credible engineering professional with strong technical depth in stormwater and drainage hydraulics, together with the leadership capability to guide teams and support project delivery.
