The recordings produced help build natural, everyday-sounding synthesized voices for conversational AI products — voices that sound like real people talking, not scripted performances. As Session Director, you'll lead live recording sessions with Voice Contributors, guiding them through scripted scenarios to produce natural, conversational-quality audio. This hands-on role blends creative direction, coaching, and technical audio judgment — making scripted material sound authentic and unscripted, rather than recited, while keeping sessions moving at a natural pace. What You'll Do Direct voice performers through scripted scenarios, coaching for natural, conversational delivery rather than verbatim recitation. Build quick scene context for performers (who, where, why) and improvise to fill narrative or dialogue gaps live, keeping sessions flowing naturally. Adapt scripted wording for natural phrasing and regional/dialect authenticity as needed. Monitor and correct technical audio quality in real time: mic technique, pacing, clarity, and background noise. Manage session pacing to meet recording targets without sacrificing performance quality, and maintain organized notes on adjustments and retakes. Create a supportive, low-pressure environment for performers, including those with limited prior voice experience. What We're Looking For Native fluency in the required language (with specific dialect), with a strong ear for natural, colloquial phrasing. Experience directing, coaching, or producing voice or audio talent (e.g., voice direction, casting direction, audio/podcast production, dubbing/ADR, or theater direction). Demonstrated ability to give clear, specific, actionable performance direction. Strong working knowledge of basic recording/mic technique (proximity, plosives, room noise, levels). Comfortable improvising and adjusting scripted material on the spot. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly with performers of varying experience levels. Preferred (nice to have, not required) Background in improv, theater direction, or acting coaching. Experience directing non-professional or first-time voice talent specifically. Familiarity with DAWs or recording software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Reaper) for spot-checking audio quality. Commitment & Compensation Estimated time: Approximately 8 hours calibration, plus supervision across two recording sessions of ~4 hours each per participant Work Type - Freelance Remote $67 - $67 an hour Why Join Welo Data? ✨ Limitless Flexibility Project-based opportunities that fit your availability. In this role, you will: Manage walk-ins, online leads and in-store appointments with high-intent customers Be a contributor to local area marketing initiatives in your community Guide customers through the home loan journey from search, to settlement, and beyond Leverage our expanded offering to earn referral income from buyer’s agents and conveyancing • Wed, 09 Sep • Aussie | Proposals & Bid Coordinator » Perth, Perth Region - THE OPPORTUNITY Few roles in a nearly 30-year-old engineering business come with a blank page. This one does. You'll own ICON's end-to-end bid and tender process, build a centralised proposals library from scratch, and introduce AI-assisted workflows that change how the business pursues and wins work, with the authority and senior backing to do it properly. ABOUT ICON ENGINEERING ICON Engineering has been delivering offshore oil and gas projects across Australia and internationally since 1997. We're a privately owned engineering consultancy with a reputation built on practical delivery: Brownfields modifications, subsea engineering, P&A campaigns, and offshore construction, across WA, Southeast Asia, and beyond. The people here have real project histories and the work reflects it. THE ROLE Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and working directly with Business Line and Business Development Managers, you'll be the single point of accountability for how ICON responds to EOIs, RFQs, RFTs, panels, and negotiated proposals. A critical part of the remit is building ICON's centralised tender and proposals library: consolidating capability statements, project histories, CVs, and commercial content currently spread across individuals and systems, and structuring it for reuse, version control, and AI-assisted drafting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own and coordinate all bid responses end-to-end: EOIs, RFQs, RFTs, prequalification panels, and negotiated proposals, from receipt through to submission. Drive bid planning, compliance tracking, internal review cycles, and approvals against realistic timelines. Design, build, and maintain ICON's centralised tender and proposals library as the single source of truth for capability, project, people, and commercial content. Enforce version control and content governance: actively chasing updates from technical and commercial leads and policing outdated material. Embed AI tools into bid workflows for first-pass drafting, content retrieval, and response analysis. Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and operational contributors without losing ownership of the process or the schedule. Track bid outcomes and analyse win/loss data to identify improvements to ICON's pursuit strategy and proposal quality. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential Demonstrated experience owning bid and tender processes in engineering, infrastructure, or professional services, not just coordinating documents. Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and hold senior contributors accountable for timely, quality inputs. Experience building or significantly improving proposal content libraries, knowledge management systems, or bid repositories. Practical, hands-on use of AI tools in knowledge-heavy or proposal environments, not theoretical familiarity. Confidence operating in a technically complex environment and engaging credibly with engineers and senior stakeholders. Ability to restructure and edit technical content under time pressure into responses that are compliant, coherent, and persuasive. Desirable Background in or exposure to oil and gas, resources, or offshore engineering sectors. Experience introducing or governing bid process improvements in a smaller or mid-size consultancy environment. Familiarity with SharePoint, CRM systems, or structured document management platforms. Exposure to win/loss analysis or pursuit performance reporting. WHY ICON ICON has a nearly 30-year project track record, a strong forward pipeline, and a management team that knows what good proposals require. The bid function is yours to build, with the authority and backing to do it properly. The people here respect structure and quality, provided it comes from someone who understands how project delivery actually works. TO APPLY OR FIND OUT MORE Contact Brendan Fernandez [email protected] OR 61 407 181 977. No agency applications will be accepted. Direct applications only. • Tue, 08 Sep • ICON Engineering Pty Ltd | Commissioning Editor » The Rocks, Sydney - Mamamia is Australia's largest independent women's media group and our core purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls. Full details on how your data is collected, used, shared, and retained are set out in a Consent Form, which you'll review and sign before any paid session recording begins. What You'll Do If Selected: Two supervised sessions of approximately 4 hours each, guided in real time by a Session Director on a separate recording platform. Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone — faithfully, without a polished, performed, or “announcer” delivery. Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic, matching the same warmth and pace as your scripted takes. Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment for session recording. Deliver all recordings entirely in the required language (with specific dialect), without code-switching into other languages or dialects. What We're Looking For Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theater performer, or a comparable performance background. Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language (with specific dialect). Access to a quiet recording space, free of echo and background noise (acoustically treated for session recording, if selected). Owns or will acquire a dedicated, professional-grade microphone for the audition (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti), upgrading to a qualifying USB condenser or XLR mic audio interface for session recording if selected. Built-in laptop mics, AirPods, earbuds, and headsets are not accepted at any stage. Owns closed-back monitoring headphones (required for session recording if selected). Comfortable both self-directing for the audition and taking live direction from a Session Director in guided sessions. Preferred (nice to have, not required) Professional voice-over experience (dubbing/ADR, audiobook, podcasting) in a conversational rather than commercial/announcer register. Baseline audio hygiene: comfortable setting mic distance and catching noise, clipping, or distortion yourself. An existing home recording setup already treated for sound. Your Data & Privacy Before any session recording, you'll be asked to review and sign a Consent Form covering how your voice recordings are collected, used (including to train synthesized/AI voice models), shared with approved partners, retained, and how to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, and more, depending on where you live). If you'd like to review these terms before applying, contact us and we'll share a copy in advance. L1-CC1 $55 - $55 an hour We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us. • Fri, 28 Aug • Welo Global | In-store Mortgage Broker - Ringwood » Ringwood, Maroondah Area - Job Description Our Aussie Store Brokers are the go-to experts in their communities, being trusted to help Australians find, buy and own their homes with confidence.
