Digital Experience Specialist » Melbourne, Melbourne Region - Digital Workplace Specialist Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane About the Opportunity An established global professional services organisation is continuing to invest in the technology and digital experiences that support its people across Australia and internationally. Operating across a large, highly collaborative global environment, the organisation has a strong focus on innovation, technology and improving the way its people work . There is significant investment underway across digital platforms, employee experience and the broader use of technology to create more connected, intuitive and effective ways of working. Culture is a big part of the environment. The organisation offers genuinely flexible working , places a strong emphasis on learning and development, and encourages people to bring forward ideas rather than simply maintain the status quo. The Role This is much more than a traditional SharePoint support role. Sitting across digital workplace, web, UX and technology, you'll help shape the digital experience used by employees internally while also contributing to the organisation's public-facing digital platforms. You'll work primarily across SharePoint Online, which supports the organisation's global intranet, alongside Sitecore, which powers its external website. You'll be hands-on designing and improving SharePoint sites and pages, managing hubs, permissions, content types, lists, libraries and modern web parts, while also supporting ongoing platform changes and strategic initiatives. On the web side, you'll contribute to page and component configuration, content management and front-end design, working with HTML, CSS, responsive design and UI/UX principles to make sure digital experiences are both functional and intuitive. There's plenty of variety in the role. One day you may be designing a new intranet experience or improving a user journey, while the next you're supporting a platform issue, delivering a change request, working with stakeholders or helping users get more from the technology available to them. You'll have the opportunity to influence how these platforms evolve rather than simply keeping the lights on. We're looking for someone with: Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online Experience designing and building modern SharePoint sites and pages Knowledge of hub sites, permissions, content types, lists, libraries and modern web parts Experience working with intranets or employee digital experience platforms Strong web design and UI/UX capability Experience with HTML and CSS An understanding of responsive design and digital design principles Experience working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions It's a bonus (but not a dealbreaker) if you have experience with a mix of the following: Sitecore Other enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) Public-facing website management Front-end web development User research or user-centred design Wireframing, prototyping or digital design tools Digital design systems and brand standards SharePoint information architecture Working within a large enterprise or professional services environment You don't need to tick every box. We're particularly interested in people who sit somewhere between SharePoint, digital experience and web/UX - someone technical enough to build and support the platforms, but equally comfortable thinking about how people actually experience and use them. Next Steps For more information and/or to be considered, apply now. • Tue, 08 SepHalcyon Knights
