With our user base growing, your focus is making sure the platform is fast, correct and recoverable, and that the team can change the system safely and often. You’ll also work AI-first and help shape how we use AI to design, build, review and decide. What you’ll own Data lands correctly: The data model, integrations and calculations, so customer numbers stay correct and recoverable as volume grows. Critical calculations are tested against a golden dataset and reconciled against Shopify, Meta and Google, with any variance alerted. The platform runs reliably at scale: Our AWS foundations, including IaC, observability, performance and load. You’ll load test to 3x current customer volume and keep our Daily Equation calculations completing in under 2 seconds. Event-driven jobs and integrations: Idempotent processing end to end, with dead-letter queues, replay, and alerting for duplicate and missed runs. You’ll also complete core third-party API version upgrades ahead of retirement deadlines. Raising the engineering bar: Setting and modelling our standards for ADRs, code review, testing, AI workflow and guardrails, and blameless incident reviews. How we work AI drives how we code, review and make decisions. This is a highly hands-on role for a strong Python and AWS engineer who wants genuine ownership across the full software development lifecycle.
