Monitoring the quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and service, ensuring authentic Nepalese and Indian culinary standards are maintained. Liaising with managers, dietitians/nutrition specialists, and kitchen/wait staff to discuss food preparation requirements and resolve operational issues. Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising kitchen staff on proper food preparation procedures, particularly in the preparation of Nepalese and Indian dishes. Preparing and cooking a variety of Nepalese and Indian dishes according to the restaurant’s menu standards, recipes, and quality requirements. Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations within the kitchen. Assisting with the selection, training, and development of junior kitchen staff as required, including providing guidance on Nepalese and Indian cooking techniques and preparation methods . Handling food preservation processes such as freezing and storing ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
