Recruit, train, supervise and support store employees. Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties to ensure appropriate staffing levels across store operating hours. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training and feedback as required. Establish and maintain high standards of customer service and respond appropriately to customer feedback and complaints. Ensure the store is presented professionally and products are appropriately displayed, priced and maintained. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and other applicable operational and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor procedures relating to cash handling, security, loss prevention and store opening and closing. Liaise with suppliers, service providers and other external stakeholders as required. Identify opportunities to improve store systems, productivity, profitability and customer experience. Skills and Experience To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: A relevant qualification in retail management, business, management or a related discipline, or substantial relevant industry experience. At least 12 months experience multi outlet retail experience at a Managerial level At least 12 months people management experience At least 12 months' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage At least 12 months' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences At least 12 months' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems, Minimum 12 months' experience managing stock control, supplier ordering, wastage reduction and product availability Relevant experience in retail management, preferably within a supermarket, grocery, convenience or other high-volume retail environment.
